The Caribbean arc stretches from the tip of Florida to the coast of Venezuela and encompasses hundreds of islands each with a distinct character. This seven-day itinerary is built around two complementary islands — Barbados for its colonial character and St Lucia for its dramatic volcanic scenery — with a day at sea between them on a luxury catamaran.
Days One & Two: Barbados
Arrival into Bridgetown, one of the oldest continuously inhabited settlements in the Americas and a UNESCO World Heritage city. The historic garrison district, the rum heritage trail and the fish markets of Oistins all feature on the first two days. The eastern Atlantic coast is wilder, with powerful surf and dramatic cliffs, while the western Platinum Coast beaches are calm, clear and fringed with palms.
Day Three: Catamaran Day Sail
A full day catamaran cruise along the Barbadian coast with snorkelling stops above the Carlisle Bay shipwrecks and a fresh seafood lunch prepared on deck.
Days Four, Five & Six: St Lucia
Piton Mountains are the island’s signature landmark — twin volcanic spires rising from the sea and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Sulphur Springs drive-in volcano, a botanical garden tour and a sunset cruise along the west coast fill the remaining days. Optional hiking on the Gros Piton trail rewards with extraordinary Caribbean views.
Day Seven: Departure
A final morning on the beach before the return flight home.
